Job summary

ExactHire is seeking a Construction Survey Crew Member / Survey Assistant in the Savannah, GA area for full-time, on-site work. You will assist the Survey Crew Chief with daily field surveying operations, perform construction layout and staking for utilities, roads, grading, and site improvements.

You will set stakes, hubs, benchmarks, and other survey points, operate GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments, read plans, maintain equipment, and follow safety

Qualifications

• Construction or surveying experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience with survey equipment is preferred but not required
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry equipment as needed
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must be able to work safely around construction equipment and job-site hazards

• Perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditionsWork as part of a team and communicate effectively with the Crew Chief and construction personnel
