Team Lead – Construction Surveillance Technician (TL)

Location: Worldwide Locations

Clearance: ACTIVE Top-Secret

Responsibilities

• Implement orders and special instructions from the Site Security Manager (SSM) and Regional Security Officer (RSO)
• Operate proposed inspection equipment
• Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles
• Read and analyze designs and blueprints and recognize the architect's intended use
• Analyze designs and structural complexities intended to mask an ulterior purpose not intended by the architect
• Exercise knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance
• Write detailed reports in English and complete the analyses of issues, findings, and security situations which require staff action
• Maintain daily logs during the tour of duty

Requirements

• Must have four (4) active years on the program
• Must have been on two (2) construction projects within the past four years
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise:
• Construction security surveillance
• Technical Surveillance Countermeasures
• Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence
• Construction quality assurance
• Hands‑on supervisory construction experience
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age
• Have and maintain a Top‑Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
• Active CST certification preferred
• In good physical health and meet medical requirements for the position
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experienced in the use of alarm systems, metal detectors, x‑ray device, and closed‑circuit television systems
• Capable of reading and speaking English, and be able to write legible, concise reports in English
