Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) in North Platte, NE seeks Construction Surveillance Technicians for roadway construction safety and device maintenance. No prior experience needed; training provided in classroom and on-the-job.

Role includes positioning and maintenance of traffic control devices, hourly checks in the work zone, and working 12-hour or 8-hour shifts with overtime. Must lift 80+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and hold a valid driver’s license.

We are hiring for the 2026 season! Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) is a traffic control company based in North Platte, Nebraska. Our service area includes central Nebraska to the panhandle and eastern Colorado.

CSI provides traffic control services, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards and other smart zone equipment. CSI is a fast-growing company looking for employees that are ready to grow with us.

Safety is the most important part of a construction project. CSI employees will help create a safe work zone by installing traffic control devices on roadway construction projects.

We need Construction Surveillance Technicians in the following areas: North Platte, NE

Construction Surveillance Technicians

Construction Surveillance Technicians are responsible for positioning and maintenance of traffic control devices on roadway construction projects. Successful applicants will be trained to set up, move and re-position traffic control devices on a roadway construction project. It is the responsibility of the surveillance technician to make trips through the work zone and check the placement of devices on an hourly basis throughout the shift.

No experience required, new hires will be trained in classroom and on-the-job.

This is a position that requires safety to be put first, as you will be working near traffic and other contractors. PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, gloves) is required and successful applicants will need to provide proper footwear and attire.
