Your Day-to-Day:

The Construction Supervisor II role is centered around a 78 MW solar farm project located in Hobbs, New Mexico. This position is primarily responsible for high voltage commissioning inspection within the substation, ensuring the proper integration of solar-generated electricity into the grid.

Responsibilities:

1. High voltage commissioning inspection within the substation, ensuring the proper integration of solar-generated electricity into the grid.
2. Monitor and inspection of the installation of substation equipment such as transformers.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of experience with a strong background with high voltage electrical systems.
2. A formal degree is not required.
3. Those with a journeyman or electrician - highly preferred.
4. Experience with commissioning, especially on solar or wind projects.
5. Valid drives' license is required.
6. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves daily interaction with contractors, inspectors, and project managers on-site.
7. Communication is key-both in conveying technical information clearly and in coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Working Conditions/Other Information

1. Standard PPE required.
2. 100% in the field.
3. Working hours 6:30-7 am to 5 pm - Some Saturdays required.
4. Site vehicle to be provided.
