Role Description

Arcadis is seeking an experienced field supervisor with Heavy Equipment Operator experience and strong leadership abilities to join the Arcadis Construction Services group in Los Angeles, CA. This is an up to 80% traveling role at client sites across the United States. Projects will primarily consist of remedial excavation, remedial system installations, demolition, and general heavy equipment and labor associated with a wide variety of project needs. Job specific training will be provided by Arcadis as needed.

Role Accountabilities

As a field supervisor and heavy equipment operator you will be responsible for the tools and equipment used during a given project, including maintenance and inspection of provided equipment. You will operate heavy equipment in a variety of weather conditions and geographical locations, consistently operate equipment safely, demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide value and quality service.

Requirements

• Able to travel to project sites as needed (up to 80% travel)
• Read and implement field plans
• Pass proficiency tests with a variety of wheeled and tracked heavy equipment
• Willing to travel as needed, may include single overnight trips, possess a valid driver license, pass a medical exam and be medically cleared to wear a negative pressure respirator, and be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment throughout an 8‑hour shift

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $59,616 – $89,424. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
