Job summary

ARG Construction is seeking a hands-on Construction Supervisor to manage daily job-site operations, crews, and field execution across our commercial and residential projects in Laredo, TX. This role serves as the critical link between project management and field work, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has proven field supervision or foreman experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate trades.

Qualifications

• Proven field supervision or foreman experience in commercial and residential construction.
• Deep technical knowledge of interior/exterior finish trades, framing, drywall, and site logistics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage diverse crews under strict deadlines.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout job plans, and manage daily field documentation.
• Procore Project Management software experience is highly preferred (a strong plus).
• OSHA 10/30 certification and bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Crew Leadership: Direct and coordinate daily activities for self-perform crews and subcontractors; assign tasks and oversee labor production.
• Quality Assurance & Blueprint Execution: Review plans and submittals to guide trade execution; inspect ongoing work for compliance with specs and codes.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce job-site safety policies and health protocols; conduct daily site inspections.
• Schedule & Material Coordination: Monitor schedules, track deliveries, manage tools/equipment logistics, report progress to Project Manager.
• Problem Solving & Field Administration: Identify field conflicts early and coordinate solutions; maintain daily logs and assist with inspections and punch-lists.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Crew Leadership: Direct and coordinate daily activities for selfperformm crews (drywall, metal framing, acoustic ceilings, and finishes) and specialized subcontractors. Assign tasks, oversee labor production, and ensure
• efficient workflow on site.
• Quality Assurance & Blueprint Execution: Review architectural plans and submittals to guide trade execaution. Inspect ongoing work to ensure strict compliance with project specifications, company quality benchmarks, and local building codes.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce job-site safety policies, federal/local health and safety protocols, and daily site inspections to maintain a secure working environment.
• Schedule & Material Coordination: Monitor daily construction schedules, track material deliveries, manage tool/equipment logistics, and communicate site progress back to the Project Manager.
• Problem Solving & Field Administration: Identify field conflicts early, coordinate quick solutions with management, maintain daily logs, and assist with site inspections and punch-list walkthroughs.
