Excellent GC seeking a heavy civil Superintendent for their WWTP sector. Industry-leading bonuses, housing allowance, and Southeast travel only.

About Our Client: This client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation in the Southeast region including AR, LA, MS, and AL. They desire hard-working individuals with experience in wastewater and / or water treatment projects including site development, deep foundations, etc. This self-perform focused GC offers a wide range of construction planning and management services and are always committed to understanding their client\'s needs. They are smaller, with about 30 employees across two offices and projects spanning $20M - $80M in value. Their biggest selling point is the strong company culture and opportunity to provide above-market bonuses given the small amount of overhead and high demand for their services.

Job Description

The Civil Superintendent is responsible for:

• Oversee daily on-site operations for civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and in-house crews to meet project milestones and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to plan and execute work effectively.
• Resolve on-site challenges swiftly, including issues related to logistics, resources, and unforeseen obstacles.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and site logs.
• Lead site meetings and provide clear communication to teams regarding project updates and priorities.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of previous experience working with a Civil Contractor
• Experience as Superintendent on water / wastewater projects is a major preference
• Willing to travel for work - projects across Southeast
• Must have experience with new construction projects
• Strong software and technology skills is a plus
• Able to communicate and be organized
• Time Management Skills - making sure everything is on time and completed thoroughly
• Experience managing in-house labor teams
