Salary:

CPM Builders (cpmbuild.com), a Florida-based general contractor, is seeking a Construction Superintendent. The role involves overseeing field operations and subcontractors at the project site. The superintendent works directly with the Project Manager and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, including as a superintendent or similar role
• Experience in interior construction buildouts
• Specific experience in residential interior buildouts
• Ability to interpret construction drawings across all trades
• Computer literate
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to work extended hours and some weekends as required
• Willing to temporarily relocate outside Florida for approximately 4 to 5 months, depending on project needs

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project from planning to completion ensuring a seamless closeout
• Lead and monitor daily activities of the project team, including trade partners, vendors, and laborers
• Communicate effectively with team, trade partners, owners, architects, and clients
• Ensure safety, health, and quality standards are met
• Facilitate job progress and safety meetings
• Create and monitor project schedules to prevent delays and cost overruns
• Track equipment and material orders
• Conduct inspections across all trades
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• Procure materials and equipment as needed

Certifications:

• OSHA 30-hour
• CPR / First Aid / AED Training

Working Conditions:

• Willingness to travel within and outside Florida and relocate for short-term assignments
• Occasional night and weekend work depending on project requirements
