SUPERINTENDENT – Townhomes

About us:

GUILD GC, Inc is a vertically integrated construction and development company focusing on urban-infill multifamily projects across the westside of Los Angeles. We have a pipeline of projects and are seeking a Superintendent to lead the construction of a townhome project in West Hollywood.

The Superintendent manages the entire construction project from mobilization to completion, overseeing all field operations to ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all on-site activities, workmanship, and materials in accordance with drawings and specifications.
2. Supervise subcontractors and ensure completion of scopes of work.
3. Supervise laborers and onsite employees.
4. Manage construction schedules, provide updates, and generate reports.
5. Track labor and material costs to stay within budget.
6. Enforce quality control standards.
7. Develop solutions for issues that arise.
8. Manage permits, inspections, and certifications of occupancy.
9. Implement and enforce safety protocols, including meetings and inspections.
10. Prepare for and attend owner meetings.
11. Oversee site opening, closing, and onsite security.
12. Maintain daily logs and photos.
13. Manage RFIs and submittals.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of supervising residential ground-up construction.
• Experience with high-end, multi-unit construction projects.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations (e.g., OSHA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management (Procore or similar), and scheduling software (Project or similar).
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bonus: Experience building in Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
