Job summary

Headwaters Construction Company is seeking a Construction Superintendent for its Temple Division in Rexburg, ID. The role coordinates operations and oversees workers to ensure quality construction per plans and safety standards, while maintaining timely material flow and planning ahead for skilled trades.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in construction
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred
• Ability to travel as needed and read drawings/plans
• Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage a three‑week rolling schedule
• Conduct and attend weekly coordination meetings
• Ensure standards meet for quality construction
• Motivate and lead subcontractor tradesmen
• Provide expertise regarding construction means and methods
• Generate and monitor a punch list for each subcontractor
• Maintain a safe construction site at all times

Job Summary

Headwaters Construction Company is seeking a Construction Superintendent for its Temple Division. In general, the Construction Superintendent is to coordinate operations and oversee workers/laborers at a construction site, and is ultimately responsible for the supervision of the actual physical construction of the project in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. The superintendent directs the day‑to‑day work activities at the job site with the goal of having the subcontractor turn out quality work for the lowest possible cost in the shortest possible time in the safest possible manner. It is the superintendent’s duty to ensure the constant flow of personnel and materials, to plan the work far enough in advance so that the proper craftsmen will be where the are required, and to ensure that the specified materials will be available for them. The superintendent is well‑organized, hands‑on, and values safety above everything else.
