We're leading the industry with education and transparency here in West Michigan while executing our plans for geographic expansion. Which means we're looking for people whose careers can grow alongside ours.

Why This Role Is Different:

At Construction Simplified, Site Managers carry real project management responsibility alongside field leadership. That's a deliberate design — it creates a faster path to growth. You'll run the site and help run the project, building the skills and client relationships that actually lead somewhere.

What You’ll Own:
Leading Exceptional Jobsites
  • Lead field operations from mobilization through closeout
  • Drive safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractor performance daily
  • Deliver an organized jobsite that reflects the Construction Simplified standard
  • Prepare and execute QA/QC plans, verify work against the drawings, and address issues fast
Being a Project Leader
  • Help build and maintain the master project schedule, including the weekly 3-week look-ahead
  • Prepare and run Monday foreman meetings and subcontractor progress meetings; co-lead OAC meetings with your PM
  • Identify changes early, initiate solution-based RFIs, and guide them to resolution
  • Build trusted relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
Growing Beyond Traditional Site Management
  • Work alongside Project Managers in planning, coordination, and client communication
  • Serve as a key client contact — clear communication, quick answers, service that earns the next project
  • Keep developing the leadership skills that create your next opportunity here
Representing Construction Simplified
  • Set the tone on the jobsite and with trade partners; lead by example
  • Capture jobsite photos, video, and stories to support our marketing
  • Represent the firm professionally in our community
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years leading commercial construction projects, with the confidence to run a site day one
  • Strong command of construction documents, scheduling, QA/QC, safety practices, and subcontractor management
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Clear, proactive communication with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal partners
  • The ambition to grow beyond the field into broader project management responsibility
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary based on your project experience and demonstrated skills
  • Four weeks of paid time off — vacation, personal, and sick
  • Company vehicle depending on role and project assignment, plus all other industry standards
  • Competitive health and wellness benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Opportunity for advanced education and certifications to enhance skills and expertise are encouraged to be pursued
  • Earned bonus and reward payouts evaluated against defined KPIs tied to project delivery, client satisfaction, safety, and team leadership
  • A culture built on awareness, teamwork, and genuine investment in your growth — with advancement that's intentional, not accidental

Passionate Construction Professionals — We seek out problems, lead to resolutions, and stand proud of what we build.
Ambitious Hustle, Achieving Goals — Self-starters with endless drive. Tight schedule? We put in the coordination and the hours without cutting quality.
Instinctive Collaborators — We win as a team. Open communication on site isn't a policy; it's how we naturally operate.
Continuous Improvement Attitude — Always sharpening how we work, and applying what we learn to the next phase.
