Job Overview

Horizon Retail Construction, a national general contractor, is seeking a Construction Superintendent (National Traveling) based at our Corporate Headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This role involves extensive travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee construction activities at various job sites.
2. Act as the primary contact on-site, coordinating with Project Managers based in Wisconsin.
3. Travel nationwide, approximately 100% of the time.
4. Manage subcontractors and client vendors' activities.

Qualifications

1. Strong knowledge of retail tenant improvements.
2. Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
3. Understanding subcontractor roles and responsibilities.
4. Proficiency with onsite technology.
5. Knowledge of OSHA standards.
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
7. Enthusiastic, professional demeanor.
8. Minimum of 5 years experience in fast-track commercial construction.
9. Proven success in managing projects.
10. Valid driver’s license and insurance.
11. Intermediate proficiency with Outlook.
