Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field teams and partner with the Project Manager to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising field personnel, coordinating with managers, maintaining safety and documentation, and ensuring equipment and cost tracking are managed effectively. A strong emphasis on collaboration and proactive problem solving guides the team.

Qualifications

• 10 years of field construction experience.
• Knowledgeable of construction methods.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of field personnel and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate all phases of the project with Project and Operations Managers.
• Inspect, approve, and report all labor time.
• Routinely inspect the construction site and work progress to maintain compliance with contract specifications along with company quality and safety standards.
• Create and accurately maintain cost/labor reports, maintain field P.O.'s and rental logs.
• Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and machinery are properly maintained. Arrange for repairs/replacements, as necessary.
