Building Specialists Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee projects from inception to completion in the Roanoke area.

You will ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. This role demands decisive leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to read plans and coordinate diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow plans.
• Also must have strong customer service skills. Computer skills are essential.
• Hands on commercial and/or residential construction experience IS required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate project scheduling, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors. Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prepare daily reports on project status.
