Job summary

JWC Commercial in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time Construction Superintendent to oversee our commercial construction projects. The role follows a Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm schedule with competitive compensation and a health plan plus a 401(k) plan.

You will work closely with the project manager to develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors and inspectors, and ensure projects meet plans, specs, and contracts. Strong organization and communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction.
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and personnel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and other industry software.
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Willing to travel

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of job sites with project manager.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and update master schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, personnel, and inspectors to meet deadlines.
• Review plans, specs, and contracts for each project.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination and safety meetings.
• Maintain records: logs, time cards, inspections, punch lists.
