Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent Intern in Charleston, South Carolina. This internship offers hands-on experience in construction management across various projects, providing a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a related degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Interns will assist with project management tasks and have the potential path to a full-time position upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in relevant degree programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Intern or co-op experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on jobsites with hands-on experience.
• Learn to create schedules and communicate with subcontractors.
• Perform critical tasks in every stage of the project lifecycle.

Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong work ethic

Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds

Education

Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related programs

Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
