Jobot is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead on heavy industrial projects across power, steel, and petrochemical sectors. You will oversee field operations, manage union crafts and subcontractors, and ensure work is executed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role emphasizes strong safety culture, clear communication with project teams, and active participation in project controls and closeout activities. Travel to active sites is expected as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent field leadership on heavy industrial projects.
• Strong background managing union crafts and multi-trade crews.
• Ability to deliver complex or fast-track projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety practices and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
• Willingness to travel to active industrial sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and coordinate on-site construction activities.
• Supervise union craft personnel, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure safety, schedule, and budget.
• Plan, sequence, and manage shutdowns, start-ups, and fast-track schedules.
• Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and plans/specs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and logistics; monitor progress in real time.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain alignment.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Utilize project controls systems for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
• Support pre-construction planning and project closeout.
