As a Superintendent, you will enhance your skills, knowledge, and learn best practices from an industry innovator that is also employee-owned!

To succeed in this role, you should be open to learning, disciplined, systems-driven, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and proactive in assisting team members with a positive attitude.

Your main goal is to deliver successful projects by ensuring the efficient use of materials, labor, equipment, and contractors to complete projects on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee onsite construction of assigned projects, including:
    • Coordinating subcontractors or multi-primes
    • Maintaining positive relationships with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Contractors
    • Managing and supervising self-performed work
    • Processing requests for clarifications
    • Updating as-built drawings
    • Tracking costs and other project-related items
  • Develop and update project schedules regularly
  • Ensure progress photos are taken throughout construction
  • Prepare daily reports accurately and promptly
  • Comply with contract documents and ensure quality standards are met
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for proper coordination
  • Assist Project Manager with change estimation and implementation
  • Lead safety plan implementation
  • Collaborate with the assigned Project Manager as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial and Public Works projects
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
  • Independent issue resolution skills based on standards and verified facts
  • Good judgment, quick learner, and logical thinking
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore and MS Project is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
