Job summary

Vantage Consulting seeks an experienced Project Superintendent to support a major data center construction project in Dalton, GA. The role focuses on onsite leadership of trades, safety, schedule, and quality, coordinating conduit, cabling, and electrical/low-voltage work before commissioning.

The ideal candidate has construction leadership experience, reads drawings, manages subcontractors, and ensures work is performed safely and on time. Data center experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong safety background with OSHA 30.
• Able to work onsite in Dalton, GA, Monday–Friday.
• Data center experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction activities for conduit, cabling, and electrical/low-voltage installations.
• Coordinate with GCs, engineers and vendors to keep schedule and quality on track.
• Ensure work is performed safely and per drawings and specs.
• Monitor progress, materials, and site logistics to meet deadlines.

Dalton, GA | Contract or Permanent | Onsite

I'm recruiting for an experienced Project Superintendent to support a major data center construction project in Dalton, Georgia.

This isn't a role that requires you to be a controls programmer or data center specialist. The priority is finding someone who understands construction, can lead trades onsite and knows how to get physical installation work completed safely, correctly and on schedule.

You'll take ownership of the construction activities supporting the installation of the project's controls infrastructure, coordinating contractors responsible for conduit, cabling and associated electrical/low-voltage work before the technical controls and commissioning teams complete their scope.

What we're looking for:

• Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, MEP Superintendent or similar construction leadership experience
• Strong onsite contractor and subcontractor management
• Experience overseeing conduit, wiring/cabling, electrical, low-voltage or MEP installation
• Ability to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing schedules, materials, quality and site progress
• Strong safety background and OSHA 30
• Comfortable coordinating with GCs, electrical contractors, engineers and equipment vendors
• Able to work onsite in Dalton Monday–Friday

Data center experience is advantageous but not essential. We're equally interested in candidates from complex commercial construction, hospitals, universities, industrial facilities and other technically demanding projects.

The opportunity:

• Contract preferred through approximately the end of 2026 with extensions likely
• Permanent candidates also considered
• Per diem negotiable for candidates travelling into Dalton weekly
• Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
