We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Manage and lead construction crews, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on the job site.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for upper management regarding status and potential issues.
• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of plans.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure they adhere to project schedules and quality standards.
• Handle inspections and ensure that all work is compliant with local codes and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Experience with construction management software, particularly HCSS, is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing projects involving bridges, retaining walls, culverts, roads, and underground wet utilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with DOT standards, highway construction, and ADA compliance is preferred.
