Job description

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Construction Superintendent to lead by example in the field—someone who not only supervises but also works shoulder-to-shoulder with the crew. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring calm, professional communication with engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field installers. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in industrial or civil construction, particularly in storage tank and foundation projects, and the ability to keep projects on track while fostering a productive, respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership : Manage and supervise daily operations on active project sites.
• Safety First : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold company standards.
• Quality Oversight : Direct field staff to meet project timelines and achieve quality expectations.
• Training & Mentorship : Train and mentor new field employees, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge.
• Communication : Provide regular updates to project managers and leadership on project status, addressing challenges proactively.
• Travel : Travel extensively (90%) to various project sites and company locations, nationwide.

Qualifications :

• Experience :

5+ years proven track record as a Superintendent or Foreman role focused on industrial construction projects.

• Technical Expertise :

Ability to quickly understand the unique challenges and technical requirements of bolted storage tank and foundation construction.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards specific to tank installation projects.
• Leadership Skills :

Excellent communication and team management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead crews in a demanding environment.
• Great time management to bring in projects on time.
• Project Management :

Experience coordinating and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Detail oriented with strong writing skills to maintain detailed daily reports.
• Additional Requirements :

Valid driver’s license.

• OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain OSHA 30
