Alice Rose in Greater Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a prominent General Contractor with a robust backlog of affordable housing renovations. The role oversees complex residential rehabilitation projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, and quality across occupied sites.

You will manage on-site operations, coordinate teams, and drive milestones while collaborating with owners, inspectors, and housing authorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering multifamily, affordable housing, residential renovation, or occupied rehabilitation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction. Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Inspectors, and Housing Authorities.
• Resolve field issues quickly while maintaining project timelines.
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
