BCC General Contractor in Central Texas is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site commercial and industrial projects from setup to turnover. You will oversee field crews and subcontractors with independence, reporting to company leadership.

The role emphasizes strong scheduling, adherence to building codes and safety standards, and the ability to coordinate inspections and deliveries to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable leadership experience in commercial construction management.
• In-depth practical knowledge of multi-trade construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
• Proven track record of managing project schedules, site logistics, and trade productivity.
• Strong leadership ability to hold subcontractors accountable and resolve complex field challenges.

• Preside over weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to maintain schedule alignment and momentum.
• Issue notices of non-compliance to hold subcontractors accountable for quality and timeline targets.
• Inspect work daily to verify installations match project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Coordinate site deliveries, trade sequencing, and municipal inspections to prevent operational delays.
• Maintain complete daily written logs, track RFIs, and submit accurate field status reports.

The Opportunity:

You will take complete ownership of on-site commercial operations, driving high-impact projects from site setup to final turnover. This role gives you the independence to manage jobsites without corporate micromanagement, backed by direct access to company leadership. You will lead diverse builds while shaping your long-term career.
