Job summary

Minima Homes in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Superintendent for luxury residential projects. You’ll be the on-site authority from groundbreak to closeout, running daily field operations, coordinating with design and project management, and upholding our high standards of finish and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent on custom or high-end homes.
• Deep knowledge of residential codes, inspections, and Arizona building conditions.

Superintendent, Luxury Residential | Minima Homes

MINIMA is an award-winning design-build-develop studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. We design, build, develop, and sell our own work: luxury custom homes, spec residences, and a growing ADU program. One team, one standard, from first sketch to final walkthrough. Our spec homes have sold before completion. Our pipeline is growing faster than our bench.

We’re looking for a Superintendent who wants more than a job site. This is a seat at a firm that’s still small enough for one person to shape how we build, and ambitious enough that the work will test you. You’ll run homes that get photographed, published, and judged at the detail level, while also running smaller ADU projects where you’ll learn our systems, absorb our standard, and build relationships with our clients from day one. What you’ll own

You’ll be the on-site authority for your projects from groundbreak through closeout. That means running daily field operations, managing subcontractors and vendors, holding the schedule, and enforcing a quality standard that doesn’t bend because a trade is behind. You’ll coordinate directly with our design, interiors, and project management teams to make sure what gets built matches what was drawn, down to the reveal line.

Day to day: You’ll lead site supervision, trade sequencing, and look-ahead scheduling. You’ll run inspections, punch lists, and quality walks with zero tolerance for “close enough.” You’ll manage safety, site cleanliness, and jobsite presentation (clients, buyers, and architects walk our sites). You’ll keep schedules and daily logs current in Buildertrend, flag risks early, and solve problems before they reach the office. You’ll also help build the field systems, trade relationships, and standards that will carry Minima through its next stage of growth.

What we’re looking for

5+ years of residential construction experience, with at least 3 as a Superintendent on custom or high-end homes. A track record of delivering complex builds on schedule with finish quality you’d put your name on. Deep working knowledge of residential codes, inspections, and Arizona building conditions. Strong command of trades, sequencing, and modern construction methods. Fluency with construction management software (Buildertrend a plus). Clear, direct communication with trades, designers, clients, and leadership. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bonus points: Experience with contemporary/modern architecture, steel and glass detailing, or architect-led projects. Spec home or development experience. Bilingual English/Spanish.
