Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for an award-winning general contractor with projects in residential, commercial, healthcare, and retail sectors.

The role requires 5+ years as a Superintendent, OSHA 30 HR, and knowledge of building codes. You will lead scheduling, material deliveries, and weekly subcontractor meetings to ensure on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
• OSHA 30 HR required within 90 days of hire.
• Good knowledge of construction building codes.

Responsibilities

• Constructively communicate with all project team members and document conversations.
• Effectively communicate with the PM about issues with cost implications or schedule delays.
• Develop and implement a program to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
• Proficient scheduler; develop and maintain a complete jobsite schedule and upload to Procore; distribute to the field team.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings including look-ahead schedule review, safety, SWPPP, quality control, RFIs, submittals, coordination items, and toolbox topics.

We are working with an award-winning commercial, healthcare, and retail general contractor. They are looking to staff their upcoming projects with an experinced Construction Superintendent.

We are a highly accomplished multistate general contractor. We have projects in 3 states and over 200 projects in our portfolio. Award-winning team and a well-known name in the market.

• Constructively communicate with all project team members while maintaining all appropriate documentation of conversations.
• Effectively communicate with the PM any issues arising with cost implications or schedule delays.
• Superintendent will be responsible for developing and implementing a program to ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet the project timelines and requirements.
• Superintendent will be a proficient scheduler and will develop and maintain a complete jobsite schedule encompassing all aspects of his/her specific jobsite. The superintendent will be responsible for communicating, uploading to Procore, and distributing the schedule to the field team.
• Weekly Subcontractor meetings to be conducted by the Superintendent to include, but not limited to, a look-ahead schedule review, safety, SWPPP, quality control, RFI’s, submittals, coordination items, toolbox topics, etc.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
• OSHA 30 HR (Must be completed within 90 days of Hire)
• Must have good knowledge of construction building codes.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $190,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
