Job summary

We Search People is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee site operations on a major commercial project in Texas. The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring works are delivered safely, on program and to quality standards, coordinating with Project Managers, subcontractors and the wider project team.

• 5+ years of experience in construction in a Superintendent/ Senior Site Manager role or construction Manager.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and on-site operations.
• Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays and construction challenges.
• Coordinate materials, plant, labor and site resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and progress updates.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Drive a positive safety culture and high standards of workmanship across the project.

You will be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on program and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

• The confidence to lead teams and make decisions in a fast-paced site environment.
• Relevant construction qualifications and site safety certifications.
