Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects valued from $5M to $30M+. The role requires leading project teams, maintaining schedule, safety, and profitability, and coordinating with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.

The candidate will interface with inspectors, enforce safety protocols, manage contract conformance, and deliver daily progress reports to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Project Superintendent overseeing ground-up, new construction projects.
• Skilled in Procore and/or other construction-related software, as well as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface with local jurisdiction inspectors and city/county officials.
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Manage work to conform to contract documents.
• Delegate tasks to Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and staff.
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day field issues.
• Complete accurate job and progress reports and related project documentation.
• Responsible for overall project success, including safety, profitability, schedule.
• Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work; implement recovery strategies.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing general construction operations of ground up construction projects valued at $5M to $30M+. The ideal candidate will have a background in ground-up construction, leading and completing projects

Select Responsibilities

• Interface with local jurisdiction inspectors and city and county official
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meeting
• Manage the work performed to ensure it conforms to the contract document
• Delegate tasks to Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day field issue
• Complete accurate job and progress reports and other related project documentation
• Responsible for overall project success, including safety, profitability, schedule
• Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work. Identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
• Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress, performance
• Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractor
