Job summary

Prevail Recruiting seeks a seasoned Tenant Improvement Superintendent for a Phoenix-based commercial contractor. Lead day-to-day field operations on tenant improvement projects, coordinating trades, materials, safety and schedules to deliver high-quality interiors.

You will partner with the Project Manager, review plans for conflicts, maintain an organized jobsite, and uphold top subcontractor performance while ensuring client satisfaction and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience with a general contractor
• Experience managing multiple trades, subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and active commercial jobsites
• Familiarity with Phoenix metro subcontractors, permitting, inspections, and local project conditions

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial tenant improvement projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, inspections, schedules, safety, quality, and site logistics.
• Keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule while proactively resolving field issues.
• Partner closely with the Project Manager on daily execution, look-aheads, site coordination, and client communication.
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes to identify potential conflicts before they impact the project.
• Maintain a professional, organized jobsite and uphold high expectations for subcontractor performance.
• Report to the Director of Tenant Improvement.
