Job summary

EGS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent for long-term contract roles in Oak Ridge, TN or Aiken, SC. The position targets leaders with UPF or DOE megaproject experience.

Responsibilities include leading field construction and supervising subcontractors, coordinating disciplines, and ensuring safety and quality. Bachelor's in construction related field and 4+ years of superintendent experience are required. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction or related field with 4+ years superintendent experience.
• Experience with DOE/nuclear megaprojects or UPF preferred.
• Strong IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access.

• Ensure construction complies with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Support inspections, testing, turnover, punch-list, and project completion activities.

We are looking for a proven construction leader with recent UPF (Uranium Processing Facility) experience or closely related DOE/nuclear megaproject experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities and subcontractors.
• Direct craft supervision and coordinate multiple construction disciplines.
• Manage construction sequencing, productivity, manpower, and schedule performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum 4 years relevant superintendent experience in the construction industry.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
