Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a Westchester-based general contractor in finding an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of the building process through completion. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction and a degree in Construction Management.

OSHA certification preferred, and proficient in project management software. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide overall leadership to the entire project team.
• Develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
• Build rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule.
• Manage budget and financial reporting; interpret reports to ensure adherence to budget.
• Oversee QA/QC program.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions

Profile

• 10+ years' experience in Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
• OSHA certification preferred * Proficient in project management software
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
