AsSuperintendentI, you will oversee field crews and help manage the successful delivery ofenvironmental constructionprojects. In this role, you’ll combine construction expertise with ecological awareness to drive safety, quality, and efficiency on site. Working closely with Project Managers and other field leaders, you’ll lead by example to ensure every job meets RES standards—and that every team member gets home safely.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of both construction processes and restoration best practices.

Your day starts by leading a tailgate safety meeting and reviewing the day’s goals with your crew. On site, you’llleadconstruction tasks, monitor equipment readiness, and ensure that work is progressing safely and according to plan. You’ll conduct site safety inspections, coach others on safe practices, and report incidents promptly to EHS&S and your supervisor.
You’ll use your knowledge of site plans, specifications, and ecological principles to guide daily operations andplans. You’ll proactively communicate with your Project Manager and the broader project team, assess site conditions, and manage tasks and personnel effectively on a single‑site project.
Throughout the day, you’ll confirm that all equipment is maintained, fueled, and functioning, and you’ll play a key role in task execution, troubleshooting, and quality control. Safety leadership and strong field coordination are essential to your success in this role.
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of construction or ecological field experience
3+ years of experience as a construction foreman or field crew lead
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a Samsara driving score above 70
Experience reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and layouts
Experience instream restorationconstruction, including planting, excavation, and erosion control
Understanding of ecological restoration in a field setting
Demonstrated leadershipof leading environmental and heavy civil construction projects.
Advanced understanding of equipment readiness and maintenance procedures.
