FILO Group in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role coordinates subcontractors, tracks safety, progress, and documentation, and travels to multiple job sites as required.

You will work with project managers, owners, and inspectors, support budget and schedule adherence, ensure quality per plans, and navigate active construction environments in the McKinney/Frisco area.

Role Description

The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in McKinney, TX, responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors, trades, and site activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will manage site logistics, conduct regular safety walks and meetings, track progress, and maintain daily reports and documentation. This position collaborates closely with project managers, owners, and inspectors, supports budget and schedule adherence, and proactively resolves field issues to keep projects moving efficiently. This position will require travel to multiple job sites on a daily and weekly basis. These projects are all located in the McKinney or Frisco area. This position will have a salary range of $80,000-$90,000 with medical, vision, and dental benefits.

• Candidates should possess budgeting and cost-awareness skills to help monitor expenditures, support change order processes, and align field work with financial goals.
• Relevant experience in commercial construction, including ground-up and interior build-outs, is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with project teams, mentor field staff, and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software and basic office tools for reporting, documentation, and scheduling.
• High school diploma or equivalent required additional technical training or a degree in construction management or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site full time in McKinney, TX and visit multiple job site visits each day and throughout the week depending on project requirements, with the physical capacity to navigate active construction environments.
