• During the school year, the hours for this position are 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (ET). During summer/holidays, the hours for this position would be during normal business.

Overview & Responsibilities

Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support projects for an Indiana Area School District. This role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project schedules for multiple sites, including two elementary schools, a junior high, and a senior high school. The projects are focused on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including stadium lighting and HVAC installations.

As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with project standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale MEP projects and working with tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 for effective project planning. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee subcontractors’ daily activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

• Perform quality control inspections and collaborate with subcontractors to address and resolve any issues.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, including detailed two-week look-ahead plans.

• Attend and, as needed, lead meetings with customers to provide updates on project progress, schedules, and milestones.

• Ensure all certified payrolls and safety documentation are accurately logged and maintained.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to monitor project safety compliance and address any concerns promptly.

• Leverage Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling and project tracking.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.

• Experience managing projects with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Ability to work with multiple construction trades.

• Proficient using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

• Ability to maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors.

• Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors.

• Must be able to clear the background screenings required for PA School Districts (FBI Check, PA State Police Check, PA Child Abuse Check).

• Possess a valid driver’s license, transportation, and a cellular device.
