Job summary

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking a seasoned Construction Operations Leader in Harleysville, PA to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale projects. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with clients, project managers, and subcontractors on multifamily and complex commercial builds.

Ideal candidates bring 10–15+ years of field experience, strong drawing literacy, and a track record of independent ownership.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of construction experience.
• End-to-end ground-up construction experience.
• Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and the entire field operation.
• Experience with multifamily, senior living, healthcare, or similar complex commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and client-facing ability. A polished, professional presence.
• Strong morals, ethics, and accountability. Cultural fit is a major priority.
• The maturity to operate independently and take ownership of a project.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.
