Job Title: Construction Talent Advisor

We are working with a General Contractor firm that is recruiting for an experienced Superintendent in the Greensburg, PA area. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent working on projects such as Commercial offices, Schools, Healthcare, and some light industrial. This is a permanent position and generally all the projects are in the Eastern Pittsburgh area within a short drive. Little or no travel is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and delegate tasks with other project team members.
• Monitor site safety and plan tasks with a safety focus.
• Coordinate everyday tasks involved in the construction process.
• Schedule crews and subcontractors.
• Arrange for material and equipment to be on site as needed.
• Work with the foremen to coordinate the daily production plan.
• Oversee quality control.
• Daily reporting of all work completed.
• Provide technical expertise and coaching to resolve production issues and verify the execution of corrective actions.
• Work to keep the project on schedule, meet specifications, maintain safety, and meet the expectations of the Project Manager.
• Interface with the owner on all projects assigned.

Requirements:

• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to motivate people to be productive and efficient.
• Ability to multi-task.
• A self-motivated individual who excels in problem solving.
• Solid, proven, and verifiable record of career stability and superintendent success.
• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on projects larger than $1 Million.
• Experience working with Healthcare, Schools, commercial facilities, and MEP experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management recommended, but candidates with sufficient related experience will be considered.
