Overview

Hiring a Project Superintendent – Heavy Civil (CDOT, FAA, Municipal, Mainline Paving) for a well-established heavy civil construction company. Salary Range: $80K – $120K DOE.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support paving superintendents and crews, providing clear direction, tools, and oversight.
• Enforce site safety culture, OSHA compliance, training, and on-site discipline.
• Oversee project budgets, change orders, cost codes, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Maintain quality and profitability through effective planning and proactive problem-solving.
• Handle project documentation—daily reports, subcontractor performance, billing input, material tracking, and more.
• Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, public agencies, and general contractors.
• Lead pre-construction planning and maintain 3-week lookahead schedules.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of field leadership in heavy civil (CDOT, FAA, municipal or mainline paving).
• Proven ability to manage crews, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance and hands-on site execution.
• Tech-savvy with experience using tablets or digital reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license required; bilingual a plus.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights/weekends when needed.
