We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Duties

PER PROJECT

• Attend Project Hand-Off Meeting with Project Engineer and Project Manager
• Fully understand Scope of Work
• Assemble preliminary Project Schedule “Start to Finish” within 1 week of handoff
• Set up dumpster and porto-potties
• Dumpster swaps called in to front office
• Ensure Scope of Work is understood and followed throughout entirety of job
• After permit receipt, update preliminary schedule and distribute to all applicable parties
• Attend all OAC meetings
• Ensure schedule is tracking as planned
• Assemble and ensure updates are sent out weekly
• Identify any issues concerns and address/correct immediately
• Ensure jobsite stays clean
• Schedule inspections
• Identify manpower issues and immediately notify PM
• Ensure KCCS Safety Policies are followed
• Ensure all SOP’s are followed
• Pre-punch all jobs
• Assemble final punch list and ensure it gets completed ASAP.

DAILY, WEEKLY & MONTHLY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Verify all subs wearing proper PPE (DAILY)
• Perform safety walks (Weekly)
• Attend EOS Level 10 ops meeting (BI-WEEKLY)
• Verify weekly project schedules are accurate (WEEKLY)
• Assemble/distribute job updates (WEEKLY)
