Responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This is a contract position with a mid-senior level of seniority.

Senior Technical Recruiter / Recruiting Manager

Ready to lead field operations for some of the most impactful oil & gas projects in the Bakersfield region? We’re looking for a seasoned Superintendent who knows their way around both greenfield and brownfield environments and thrives on building strong teams and driving safe, high-quality execution.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily field operations across construction, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Build and mentor high-performing crews—fostering a culture of safety, ownership, and results.
• Partner closely with vendors and subcontractors to keep work aligned with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep communication tight and issues resolved.
• Support planning, scheduling, manpower needs, and site logistics.
• Conduct field walkdowns, monitor quality, and ensure work meets all specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Anticipate risks, drive improvements, and keep projects moving forward.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of field leadership or superintendent experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial construction.
• Strong background in both greenfield and brownfield operations.
• Proven ability to build cohesive teams and motivate crews in dynamic field environments.
• Experience managing vendors and subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
• Solid understanding of safety programs, industry regulations, and construction best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read/interpret drawings, P&IDs, and construction documents.

Bonus Points

• Oilfield services or midstream facilities experience.
• Experience working with EPCs or multi-discipline service companies.
