Seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join its team supporting a steady pipeline of big-box retail and commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on field leader with a proven ability to manage subcontractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and keep complex builds moving on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have experience running fast-track retail construction projects, including both open-store renovations and ground-up builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for assigned projects
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, and safety compliance
• Maintain communication with project managers and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Provide short-term (2–3 week) lookahead schedules and daily reporting
• Maintain clean, professional job sites in live retail environments
• Travel to various project locations based on company needs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
• Proven background in big-box retail construction
• Experience with both open-store renovations and ground-up construction preferred
• Ability to manage multiple trades and tight schedules effectively
• Proficient in construction scheduling (short-term and project-level)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willing and able to travel full-time
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
