Job summary

Scott Humphrey is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on large ground-up and tenant-improvement construction projects. You will interface with inspectors, owners, and engineers while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time progress.

The role requires at least 6 years of supervision experience, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and a track record of coordinating diverse teams on complex builds. A strong safety culture and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years as a Project Superintendent on ground-up and tenant-improvement projects.
• Procore or equivalent construction software experience; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with inspectors and local officials.
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.
• Manage work to conform to contract documents.
• Delegate tasks to Assistant Superintendents and field staff.
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day field issues.
• Complete accurate project and progress reports.
• Ensure overall project safety, profitability, schedule, and quality.
• Develop schedules and sequencing; implement recovery strategies.
• Provide daily progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintain professional relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.

Select Responsibilities

• Interface with local jurisdiction inspectors and city and county officials
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meeting
• Manage the work performed to ensure it conforms to the contract documen
• Delegate tasks to Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day field issues
• Complete accurate job and progress reports and other related project documentation
• Responsible for overall project success, including safety, profitability, schedule, and quality
• Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work. Identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
• Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress, performance
• Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractor

Qualification

• Minimum of 6 years as a Project Superintendent overseeing ground up, new construction projects and tenant improvement
• Skilled in Procore and/or other construction-related computer software, as well as Microsoft Office
