Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. in Ashburn, VA seeks a Construction Superintendent IV to lead data center construction from start to finish. You will coordinate all phases, manage trades, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of verifiable construction experience with trades knowledge.
• Experience in mission critical construction preferred.
• Comprehensive experience across civil earthwork, formwork, rebar, concrete, structure, drainage.
• Experience managing MEP trades.
• Procore and Bluebeam proficiency preferred.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of construction projects, scheduling subs, consultants, and vendors.
• Oversee on-site activities to meet specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintain communication with project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure scope compliance and safety.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and plan ahead.
• Keep accurate daily logs and coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and resolve issues.
• Identify deficiencies and issue non-compliance notices as needed.
• Keep jobsite clean, organized, and secure at all times.
• Assist with budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts and permits.
• Gather and maintain records of project material submittals and approvals.
• Open/secure the jobsite daily and perform punch list for progress and closeout.

• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and resolve issues.
• Identify and address deficiencies in work quality or scheduling, issuing notices of non-compliance as needed.
• Ensure the jobsite remains clean, organized, and secure at all times.
• Assist with budgeting, bidding, and awarding of subcontracts, as well as obtaining permits and approvals for revisions.
• Gather and maintain records of project material submittals and approvals.
• Open and secure the jobsite at the beginning and end of each day.
• Perform punch list identification and completion for job progress and project closeout.
