Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Superintendent/PM hybrid for residential builds, townhomes, and small multifamily projects. You will lead field operations while coordinating schedules, budgets, and documentation across multiple job sites.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in a superintendent or PM/superintendent hybrid role, familiarity with BuilderTrend/Procore, and a strong track record in coordinating utilities and site work. This is a full-time on-site role with regular client updates.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential builds, townhomes or small multifamily projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate subs, schedules, and budgets.
• Comfort with field leadership and administrative duties.
• Experience with BuilderTrend, Construction Online or Procore is a plus.
• Pre-employment background check and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned job sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, utilities, and city interactions.
• Manage punch lists and project closeout items.
• Perform light carpentry or jobsite adjustments when needed.
• Track project budgets and approve invoices related to assigned projects.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation in construction management software.
• Provide weekly written updates to clients and leadership.
• Participate in bi-weekly leadership meetings to review project progress.
• Perform material takeoffs and verify quantities.
• Request subcontractor bids and assist with change order pricing.
• Maintain photo documentation and project tracking logs.
• Communicate professionally with clients, trades, inspectors, and internal leadership.
• Take ownership of projects from ground break through final completion.
• Balance approximately 50% field leadership with 50% project coordination/administration

Requirements

• Experience coordinating site work, dirt work, and underground utilities
• Candidates with strong residential construction backgrounds who are stepping into their first full Superintendent role are encouraged to apply
• Experience with BuilderTrend, Construction Online, Procore, or similar systems is a plus
• Drug- and alcohol-free workplace requirements
