POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of field engineering assignments by applying basic engineering techniques and analyses. This entry-level Construction Specialist is exposed to various aspects of field engineering and construction activities while gaining exposure to Company procedures and industry practices. May give functional guidance to craft personnel. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.
The project worksite is on Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands and you must be willing to relocate there on long-term assignment.
Supervision Received – Quality Control (QC) Manager/QC Specialists; Construction Manager; Project Manager
Supervision Given - Craft employees (functional guidance only)
Internal Contacts - All employees on project
External Contacts - Suppliers; Subcontractors
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, or other construction-related field is required. In addition, 1+ years of experience in field construction is preferred.
Requires a fundamental knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as good written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction is also required.
