Job summary

Billingsley is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee on‑site construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. The role serves as a key liaison between field crews, subcontractors, project management, and owners.

Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years of field construction experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Procore and scheduling software is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of field construction experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent field experience considered)
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification preferred (90 days to obtain if not already)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day‑to‑day field operations across all phases of construction
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules, scopes of work, and on‑site activities to maintain project momentum
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and ensure alignment with plans
• Maintain an accurate and detailed daily field report log
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings with field crews
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Superintendent
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings with the project management team
