Job summary

Riverbay Corporation in The Bronx, NY is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to coordinate and direct workers, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent in building trades, at least six years of masonry/construction supervision, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication; bilingual is a plus, and flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Six years of masonry/construction supervisory experience, including general building maintenance in all trades.
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience with NeoGard / Sika product application and process as a certified applicator is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to construction.
• Working knowledge with project management programs.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis and direct workers accordingly.
• Track and monitor contractual conditions of contractor performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate site safety risks as appropriate and elevate to management as required.
• Prepare internal reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques on site.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
