Design Crete Inc is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to lead field crews on on-site floor coatings projects in the Sioux Falls area. You will manage daily installations, coordinate surface prep, and ensure quality finishes from start to seal.

The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work with project managers and clients. Hands-on training in resinous coatings and concrete finishing is provided for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in construction supervision, preferably floor coatings.
• Strong knowledge of concrete preparation and coating processes.
• Ability to read project specs and apply materials correctly.
• Driver's license with clean record; OSHA 10/30 certification a plus.
• Excellent communication and team direction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site field crews, assign daily tasks, and manage project timelines from surface prep to final seal.
• Oversee concrete grinding, shot-blasting, mixing, and product applications for top finishes.
• Enforce safety standards, PPE use, ventilation, and equipment handling on site.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for clients, general contractors, and project management.
• Identify and address on-site variables like moisture, temperature, or equipment issues.

We are looking for a reliable and sharp Site Supervisor to lead our field crews, manage daily installations, and maintain our high standards of quality and safety.

What You Will Do

• Lead Field Crews: Supervise on-site install crew, assign daily tasks, and manage project timelines from surface prep to final seal.
• Ensure Flawless Quality: Oversee concrete grinding, shot-blasting, mixing, and product applications to ensure the highest quality finishes.
• Enforce On-Site Safety and Procedures: Maintain safety standards, use of proper PPE, ventilation, and equipment handles correctly.
• Client & Management Liaison: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, general contractors, and our project management team.
• Problem Solve: Quickly address and communicate on-site variables like moisture issues, temperature shifts, or equipment malfunctions.

What We Look For

• Proven Leadership: 2+ years of experience as a construction supervisor, foreman, or crew lead (floor coatings experience is highly preferred, willing to train the right candidate).
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of concrete preparation, construction processes, ability to learn and apply project specific materials (resinous coatings, and flooring equipment, etc).
• Detail-Oriented Mindset: A sharp eye for floor prep quality, adhering to product mixing and application specifications, and finding and addressing potential finish flaws prior to completion.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean record; OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a major plus.
• Strong Communication: Ability to clearly direct a team and update management on daily progress.
