Job summary

You will mentor apprentices, coordinate with the Project Superintendent, lead daily briefings, monitor productivity, and help plan all phases of high‑risk work on active sites. The role demands hands-on leadership and strong communication in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of apprenticeship program or 4-6 years relevant field experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient blueprint reading and task scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to crew.
• Evaluate safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings to discuss the plan.
• Maintain communication with the Project Superintendent on plans and changes.
• Attend weekly project meetings.
• Provide training and mentoring to apprentices and new hires.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet goals.
• Assist in preplanning and high-risk work activities.
• Oversee paperwork and timesheets; ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate punch lists, inspections, or tests.
