Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
• Bilingual (preferred but not required).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints and translate to other parties.
• Ability to resolve disputes between workers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements.
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes.
• Perform quality checks on construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Report project progress to superintendents.
• Develop, organize and track a production schedule for workers.
• Supervise all construction workers.
• Be the liaison between construction workers and superintendents.
• Ensure that a project is adequately staffed.
• Assign tasks to construction workers and follow up on progress.
• Ensure that the project stays on or under budget.
• Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints and translate information to other parties.
