Cape Fox Shared Services seeks a Site Superintendent to oversee daily site activities of federal construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and client communications on projects across multiple states, including FL.
The role reports to the Project Manager and requires USACE Construction Quality Management certification, on-site leadership of crews, and strict compliance with EM 385‑1‑1 and OSHA safety rules.
The Site Superintendent oversees the daily site activities of construction projects from start to finish, coordinating scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and client communications. Reporting to the Project Manager of Mountain Point, the role serves federal facilities across the Space Coast area, FL and the Southern United States, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, the Carolinas, and Florida. Responsibilities cover building renovations, repairs, new construction, pre‑construction services, IT and physical security upgrades, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, demolition, and specific civil and utility infrastructure such as potable water, storm, and sewer systems.
The Superintendent is the prime point of contact with the Government contracting official on‑site and ensures compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, quality and security requirements to maximize productivity. The position also serves as Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) on federal contracts when required and supports the Contractor Health and Safety Program in accordance with EM 385‑1‑1. A Construction Quality Management certification from the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is required, and the Superintendent will coordinate with the Quality Control Manager.
Other duties may include performing additional tasks as assigned and covering across functional areas to balance peak workloads.
Primary work supports construction efforts on U.S. Government contracts at military installations. Site Superintendents typically work full‑time in varied settings, including offices, facilities, or construction sites. The work involves considerable travel and fieldwork with exposure to dangerous or stressful situations, requiring safety equipment to minimize illness or injury risks.
