Job summary

Northline Building in Wisconsin is seeking a highly organized construction supervisor to oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate project activities, and uphold safety and quality standards on site. You will lead on-site teams, supervise crews and subcontractors, review plans, monitor progress, and communicate with project managers and clients to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in construction or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, schedules and technical docs.
• Excellent leadership and strong communication abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations to support project completion on schedule and within scope.
• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors for productivity and accountability.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve quality/safety/timeline issues.
• Review plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections for workmanship and safety.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment, materials, and inspections.
• Maintain documentation on progress, labor, materials, and site conditions.
• Support safety culture by enforcing policies and regulations.
• Assist forecasting labor needs, tracking productivity, and closeout activities.
